Should you fill the lucky bottle?
Before every race Sam drinks from his lucky bottle, and he really does run faster — you've timed him. Yesterday you found out what's in it: tap water. His dad fills it at the kitchen sink. Tomorrow is the big race, his dad is away, and Sam has asked you to fill the bottle.
What earns a point in this world: Gives a reason that isn't about winning.

- He really does run faster with it. I've timed him.
- If believing in the bottle makes him fast, then the bottle works.
- Emptying it the night before the race just makes him lose.

- He's fast because of his legs, not the water.
- He'd want to know it's from the tap. I would.
- What happens on the day there's no bottle?
